Search Engines Optimization.
Part 1
Keywords.

90% of webmasters do not take care about search engines optimizations or doing that wrong. We may give you several advices and hopefully you will be able get top placement in the main search engines directories. Let's star with choosing right keywords. Some people think that after Google's introduction of linking popularity and page rank system it is worthless to spend time and efforts on keyword optimization. That is WRONG. Page rank summarizes due to number of factors and keywords are still counted.

What we need is not just keywords but we need RIGHT keywords. As a matter of fact we should pick up not the single word but a key phrase. It is easier to achieve top rank position on the phrase "creative web design" then just "web design". There are too many companies on the Internet chasing "common keywords". Get the pen and sheet of paper and think for a moment about keywords and phrases, which may represent your company in a best way. While thinking, keep in mind the following:

1. Who is your target audience?
2. Look for competitors' websites who achieved top rank in search engines listings.
3. Analyze the frequency of the keywords and phrases, which you have selected.
4. Do you offer competitive pricing for the product or service that relates to the keyword?

A great way to keep tabs on the most popular terms in use on the Internet can be determined by accessing various FREE services that exist online dedicated to compiling a list of the top current search keywords. To calculate the numbers of competitors on the selected keywords use Overture search service. Enter each of your keyword at Google, using quotations. E.g. "creative web design" and you will get the exact number of competitors registered in Google

DO NOT SPAM WITH YOUR KEYWORDS!!! Search engines really do not like to be overloaded with tones of keywords. You probably will be banned out of search engine if you use more keywords then allowed by engines.

Use your keywords in the content text. But do not repeat keywords just to repeat them. You may be banned for that also. Keep the percentage between 5%-10% of keywords out of whole content text.
