What is necessary to start building web pages?
- To start working with HTML you will need a computer. Not the fastest one but rather fast enough to follow your typing speed. The faster you type the faster computer should be:-)
- Then you will need a HTML editor. Since this is the advanced HTML course we will discuss the text based editors such as AceHtml or simple Notepad.
- You will need couple of browsers to view the code you have made for your website. We may suggest use free browsers such as Netscape Navigator or MS Explorer. Besides those two are the most popular, so you obviously need to check your work in both of these browsers.
- If you plan to publish your work online you probably will need a web server. You may also work offline and then just upload your pages on the server or view them locally on your hard drive.
